What is Absher, and how do I get the digital iqama (Muqeem ID) on my phone?

Absher is the Ministry of Interior's e-services platform, and the digital Muqeem ID is the electronic version of your iqama that Jawazat lets you download inside the Absher Individuals app.

How to download the digital Muqeem ID

1. Install the Absher Individuals app.
2. Sign in to your Absher account.
3. Open My Services.
4. Choose the digital Muqeem ID download option.
5. Tap Download Muqeem ID.

A few things you can do on Absher

• Buy or sell a private car and transfer ownership fully online, with the price held in an intermediate account until the car is delivered.
• Register your National Address: Saudi Post lists Absher as one of the channels.
• Download your digital Muqeem ID, as above.

Card or phone?

Jawazat's page explains how to download the digital ID but doesn't say it replaces the physical card in every situation, so keep the card to hand for a bank, clinic or office that asks for it.
