Hajj/Umrah Visa
For Muslims performing the Islamic pilgrimage to Mecca and Medina.
1-4 weeks
30-90 days (single entry)
7 required documents
Passport valid for at least 6 months with blank pages
Name on passport must match name on all other documents exactly
Recent passport photos with white background, no head covering
Women may wear hijab but face must be fully visible
Meningitis ACWY vaccine (required), COVID-19 vaccine (if applicable)
Vaccine must be given at least 10 days before travel
Confirmation from licensed Umrah travel agency (if applicable)
Many countries require booking through licensed agencies. Check your country's requirements.
For converts - certificate from Islamic center
Only required for recent converts, should be signed by Imam
Passport valid for at least 6 months
Recent passport photos
Meningitis ACWY, and any additional vaccines required for the year
Booking through official Hajj mission or licensed operator
Most countries have quota systems - apply early through official channels
Proof of relationship to male guardian for women under 45
Rules have relaxed - women 45+ can travel in groups without mahram

- -Hajj quota is limited - apply through your country's official Hajj mission
