Living near Al Batha in Riyadh: how do I get around by metro?

Al Batha is on the Riyadh Metro's Blue line (Line 1), which runs Olaya – Al Batha – Al Haier, according to the Royal Commission for Riyadh City.

The network at a glance

• King Salman opened the Riyadh Metro on 27 November 2024.
• It has 6 lines, 176 km and 85 stations, with capacity for up to 3.6 million passengers a day, alongside the Riyadh bus network.
• Line 1 (Blue): Olaya – Al Batha – Al Haier, 38 km.
• Line 2 (Red): King Abdullah Road, 25.3 km, with an 8.4 km extension project.
• Line 3 (Orange): Madinah Road – Prince Saad bin Abdulrahman Al Awal Road, 40.7 km.
• Line 4 (Yellow): Airport Road, 29.5 km.
• Line 5 (Green): King Abdulaziz Road, 12.9 km.
• Line 6 (Purple): Abdulrahman bin Awf Road – Sheikh Hassan bin Hussein bin Ali Road, 29.7 km.
• The lines connect places such as King Khalid International Airport, the King Abdullah Financial District, universities and the city centre.

2. Walk the route to the station at the time you'd commute.
3. Get the lease registered on Ejar: rent on residential units inside Riyadh's urban boundaries can't be increased for five years from 25 September 2025.
